This photo gives us more white on white decor and style ideas for our home redo coming up soon. We are also thinking about textures for the space, and thinking that those will be derived from the fibers and materials of accessories. So our plan is white on white with earth tones and maybe zinc/gray tones for metallic items like the bed in the photo. (via lovelydesign)

(via lovelydesign) Here is a bit of inspiration for our pending home redo. Our pics to come soon. We have a white on white as in ceiling white color scheme going on due to our northern window exposures. The textures here seem to break that up.

Easy Lentil Soup

Ingredients

• 1/2 large onion, diced
• 3 cloves garlic, crushed and diced
• 3 carrots, diced
• 3 stalks celery, diced
• 1 potato, diced
• 16 oz cooked lentils
• 16 oz crushed tomatoes
• 1/4 cup olive oil
• 3 oz chopped ham

Instructions

• Saute onion and celery in olive oil for 5-7 minutes, or until onions are softened
• Add parsley, garlic, and carrots to the mix and saute for an additional 2 minutes
• Add ham to vegetable mixture and stir for an additional minute.
• Add lentils, crushed tomatoes, potato, and 4 cups of water to the mix.
• Simmer until all vegetables are soft, 30-60 minutes.
• Serve with grated cheese.
