Sadie is taking in the view of the kitchen below. It is really quite something. There are no cabinets, the appliances are in the middle of the room, and the whole area is a dust zone. Her face tells the entire story - there is a lot to do. We are collecting our design thoughts in this blog, with a main goal of figuring out how to keep our whitewashed look interesting.

This photo gives us more white on white decor and style ideas for our home redo coming up soon. We are also thinking about textures for the space, and thinking that those will be derived from the fibers and materials of accessories. So our plan is white on white with earth tones and maybe zinc/gray tones for metallic items like the bed in the photo. (via lovelydesign)
